CONTESTS

Autumn 2007: The leaves are turning, the air is getting colder—autumn is here, and winter’s on its way. For some of us that means school’s started up again; for others it means preparation for upcoming events; for still others it means hibernation. For DPTruth—it means a contest.

The theme for this contest is just that—autumn. How do the DP characters spend their time in the turning season? How do they celebrate the autumn, or prepare for winter? What’s on their minds as the season changes—school events, approaching holidays, nasty weather?

As in contests past, there will be an Artist’s Category and a Writing Category, and as in the past, extra points will be given to artists who are able to draw characters, layouts, and special effects on model, as well as writers who keep the characters and their personalities in character and canon, with minimal use of original characters. Points will be subtracted if any original characters fit the definition of a Mary Sue/Gary Stu. Other than that, you guys know the drill—be creative, be respectful, and have fun! The deadline for this contest will be December 22, 2007. If there are any questions, please feel free to note the club.

NEWS

After episode 53 of Danny Phantom is completed in February 2007, production on the show is scheduled to cease. Write to Nickelodeon to show your support for the show and to express your wish to see more new episodes after #53.

We have moved our weblog to Xanga. We are still in the process of setting it up, though we are still accepting any journal entries that members would like to have archived. Please send this club a note with a link to the journal you would like to have posted on the blog.

Member's gallery and favorites do not link to galleries which contain slash or femmeslash, shounen-ai or yaoi, shoujo-ai or yuri, softcore or hardcore pornography or any other inappropriate or "mature" works
Submissions do not contain inappropriate content
Submissions promote the show respectfully

How to Join: Send us a note [link] stating that you wish to join. Please do not place membership requests in the comment box. If you do not receive a reply, then your application has been rejected.

How to Submit Artwork: Send a note to [link] with the URL and title of the artwork you wish to submit. It will be reviewed before it may be added to the gallery. Please do not place art submissions in the comment box.
